INFRASTRUCTURE & QUALITY CONTROL

Pt. Mahalaya has two warehouses in Surabaya focusing on Black and White Pepper, Mace, Nutmegs, Turmeric, Cubebs and Cloves, and another warehouse in Lampung for Cassia and Black Pepper. While Surabaya is strategically located for sourcing spices from Sulawesi, Kalimantan , Java, NTT and NTB, Lampung is ideal for Black Pepper and Cassia.

Surabaya has mechanized cleaning lines for Black/White Pepper and Turmeric and Lampung has mechanized cleaning lines for Black Pepper and Cassia. Apart from these three central warehouses, there are over 10 collection and pre - cleaning centres spread across Java, Sumatra, Sulawesi, Kalimantan, NTT and NTB, where we engage another 40-50 people. 100% of our exports are based on machine cleaned and/or hand processed spices.

We source the best quality raw material on our own, resulting in a premium quality output after cleaning. The Entire Processing is closely monitored, to get the best and homogeneous quality.
